A Market Fresh Celebration

This week’s color palette from Michelle Quinno for the Pals Paper Arts is fresh and fun. Check out the colors:

I wanted to do something different and reach for a stamp set I have not used in a while – Market Fresh filled the bill.

I went to a luncheon last week on the status of organics in the marketplace. Did you know that it is a $45 Billion industry and rapidly expanding? What was once a cottage industry, now feeds retailers like Wal-Mart, Costco, and Target. I know I buy organics but I am not a diehard organics only kind of gal. My tostada chips and salsa can come from any where. Ha!

Back to the card…the background was created using Crumb Cake ink and the Timeless Textures stamp set on Crumb Cake card stock. I stamped the lettuce from the Market Fresh stamp set using Cucumber Crush ink and card stock. I stamped it again on Whisper White in Versamark and used Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder for the sentiment. I snipped this out with my Paper Snips and popped it up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. You can see the shine in this photo.

Sneak peek

I love the Bermuda Bay and Cucumber Crush card stock together. ♥ The Basic Black card stock base makes the entire card pop!

You know I always do something with the inside of my cards as well. I used the Enjoy the Little Things Photopolymer Stamp Set. More Love!!

  2. Agree with Mary, the edges of your card are fabulous. And this sentiment is so cute, it always make me giggle when I read it. Great job Michelle!

  3. Clever, clever! I picture a beautiful garden, thanks to the Timeless Texture garden soil in the background. Fantastic!

  4. As I was trying to figure out what stamps to use on this challenge, I wished I had this big head of lettuce – but I don’t. What a great card, Michelle! I love the texture you’ve created in the background.
