Pomp & Circumstance

Today is a very big day in our household. Today we should learn the outcome of eight prominent schools that our son applied to for college. The stress on these kids (and their families) can be overwhelming.  It is all anyone talks about when they see him.  So when I thought of what kind of card to create for the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge this week it seemed appropriate to create a congratulations card for Pierce. Regardless of the outcome today he has several amazing acceptances under his belt.  He is an accomplished young man who we are so very proud of.  So this is for him…

Clean, simple and masculine!  The Retro fresh DSP and coordinating Washi Tape made creating this sketch a cinch.  I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock the height I wanted and then added the washi tape to ensure I got the exact color I wanted on the card.  The sentiment is from the Pomp & Circumstance stamp set.

Here is the sketch by the very talented Nicole Watt who is a magician with MDS.
