This past week we have had the most beautiful weather. We call it Chamber of Commerce Weather. Sunny, no humidity and in the 70’s. Needless to say you want/need to be outside. Since I work full time my weekends are my time to enjoy time outside. I also need/want time in my craft room. Thankfully I am an early riser so I can do both. Yesterday I played with my new Concord & 9th Fine Line Floral stamps and dies. I do not need anymore floral stamp sets however when I saw Angie of Concord & 9th demo this set I knew I had to have it. I have a lot of photos for you.
This first card was stamped in Memento Black ink and then again with Versarmark on Shimmery White card stock and heat embossed in Black Stampin’ Embossing Powder. Then I watercolored three of the flowers using Petal Pink, So Saffron, and Seaform Green.
A few Nuvo Drops and Old Olive Linen Thread add the finishing touch.
A peek at the inside sentiment.
This card was created using the fill-in floral images from the stamp set. Again using the same three colors. Using Stampin’ Up! Stitched Rectangle Dies the layers were layered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. (If you do not have this Stitched Rectangle Dies you NEED them!) The centers of the flowers and the sentiment were heat embossed in Simon Says Stamp Antique Gold Embossing Powder,
Again a few Nuvo Drops adorn the card to finish it off.
Love the detail of this set.
And here are the two cards together. I created a few more cards with this set in another color palette that I will share later this week. Be sure to stop back. Subscribe to ensure you don’t miss a post, you won’t get anything but my posts.
Thanks for stopping by!
