Crafting with Sketched Roses

Although I have a craft room filled with paper, ink and stamp sets there is always another stamp set that catches my eye and becomes a must have for my crafty stash. The Greetery Sketched Roses stamp and die set is one of those sets.

This set has been out for a couple of months. Last week I ordered it and it shipped the same day. Oh how we love that instant gratification that our newest order is on its way! When it arrived I could not wait to play and play I did. I created 8 uniquely designed cards with this set. My Stampin’ Mojo has not been going like this in some time so it was really fun.

The base of my card is the Brutus Monroe Not Your Mama’s Ultra Heavy Base Weight Cardstock. Wowza, this is fabulous card stock.

The card background is Stampin’ Up! Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper with a layer of Perennial Essence So Saffron vellum that was cut using the SU Stitched Nested Label Dies.

The focal point is the Sketched Roses Stamp set, a multi-layer stamp set, lines up and stamps with perfection. Using my Stamparatus allowed me to line everything up once and then using the four sides of the two plates I stamped and stamped and stamped to my hearts content.

The color palette for the image is So Saffron, Mango Melody, Soft Seaford, and Mint Macaron.

Once inked I die cut the image, which again lined up perfectly, it was mounted anon the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals . A few jewels were the final touch.

The sentiment and coordinating die are also part of this stunning set from The Greetery.

I will share more of the cards I created soon. I hope you are staying safe and staying strong.

hugs,

Michelle
