Sunday At The Seashore

Sunday's are perfect for a walk on the beach so I'll show you one of my favorite stamp sets, At the Seashore.  This stamp set gives me a sense of peace and tranquility.

I wanted the look of weathered wood so I tried to "whitewash" a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the Natural Composition Specialty line with my white craft ink.    I used clear embossing powder to enhance the color of the shells.  Can you see the pearls I added on the shells?

Did this card take you to the seashore today?  I hope it did.

Stampin' Up supplies used:

Inks:  Midnight Muse and Crumb Cake

Papers:  Natural Composition Specialty DSP, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla cardstock

My first blog post

My love of paper crafting goes back to high school when I saw a scrapbook created by my best friend’s mom. The idea of capturing memories and moments with matchbook covers, napkins and photos inspired me. Then I began finding paper and stickers to augment my designs. Today with the amazing tools available we can transform paper into works of art.
This month marks my first anniversary as a Stampin’ Up demonstrator. I became a demonstrator to have early access to new product lines and of course get a discount for my paper crafting addiction. What I gained was a circle of inspiration from men and women who also enjoy creating beautiful cards, scrapbook pages, and gifts to give to others. This post is dedicated to them. Thank you PALS for your generous spirit of sharing your lives and creative gifts.
So today I launch my blog – Stampin’ Mojo. Mojo is the name of my dog (yes he is the one pictured) and it describes the inspiration gained being a part of the Stampin’ Up Community. I hope you will continue with me on my creative journey.
