Daydream Medallions provide Special Birthday Wishes

The Daydream Medallions Stamp set is one of the very first stamp sets I bought from Stampin' Up.  I loved the design and thought I could journal within the medallions for special design effects on my scrapbook pages.  When I learned the Floral Frames Collection coordinated with the stamp set to create even more dimension with the stamp set, it became another must have item!

Now let's see how I used the stamp set and framelits to create a very special birthday card.

I used a standard A2 card base of Very Vanilla card stock.  Then I cut a piece of Pear Pizazz card stock a 1/4" smaller than my card base.  The middle piece of DSP is Wisteria Wonder (3" x 5 1/4") from the Subtles Collection new Designer Paper Stack.  Each medallion was stamped on Very Vanilla card stock with alternating ink Wisteria Wonder then Pear Pizazz and then back to Wisteria Wonder.  Using the coordinating Floral Frames made the creation of the flower a snap.  Each layer was adhered to the next layer with Stampin' Dimensionals to create the depth and texture.  I finished the flower with a button from the Brights Desiger Buttons tied with a piece of Linen Thread.  The sentiment is from the Simply Sketched Hostess stamp set shown below.

Here you can see more of the dimension of the card.

I love how all the paper, ink and accessories coordinate in Stampin' Up! product line. It makes creating so much more fun.
