Pals February Blog Hop

Feb Blog Hop Badge

Welcome to the Pals February Blog Hop. This month we are excited to share with you what we love about Stampin' Up! – our stamps, tools, accessories and techniques.

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Shannon Hokanson at Paper Works on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

I have been scrapbooking since high school and always enjoyed creating depth and texture in my pages. When I was introduced to Stampin' Up! over a year ago I was instantly hooked! The quality of the paper, the way all the accessories were color coordinated and the tools!  Through my card, I will show off why I am IN LOVE with Stampin' Up! products.

The colors in my card are Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, So Saffron, and Pool Party. A clean and simple design with fresh spring colors.

I have had several paper cutters through the years including a large heavy 12 x 12 office style cutting board. The BEST paper cutter I have ever had and used is the Stampin' Trimmer. It cuts a beautful clean cut and you can score with it as well.  This makes crafting a breeze.

My next favorite item is the Big Shot and Magnetic Platform.  While I loved my Big Shot it became even better with the Magnetic Platform.  If you have not invested in this tool, you MUST.  I used the Squares Collection Framelits with my Magnetic Platform to create the squares for my card.

I said I loved how Stampin' Up coordinates their collections.  The Petite Petals Stamp Set and matching punch are a perfect example.  The inks used to stamp the flowers are the same as the card stock and the Candy Dots used for the flower centers coordinate as well. There is no time spent chasing down something that matches as I used to do before Stampin' Up!.  Now I get more time to create.

The sentiment stamp comes from A Dozen Thoughts.  A go-to stamp set with great fonts with just the right messages.

I could go on and on but you have many more wonderful designs ahead along the hop to inspire you. The products used for my card are below the Blog Hop Line -Up.  If you click on any item it will take you to Stampinmojo's Online Store for you to purchase.  Don't forget For every $50 you spend you will get a FREE Sale-a-Bration item of your choice!
