Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge #194

As you read this post I am in Phoenix AZ on business.  Once my business meetings are over I will spend the weekend with my Dad who moved to Mesa AZ last year from Naples FL. (Who does that?) Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing my dad's new house and getting to spend some time with him.

Today we celebrate another Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge

03-06-2014 PPA color challenge

The colors for this challenge are…

PPA 194

There is definitely a geometric theme happening! The ribbon is a piece of Chevron ribbon cut in half and using the Craft Scissors made a beautifully clean cut. A couple of mini glue dots is all that is needed to keep it in place.

I was looking for a star punch and I can't believe I do not have one. So I used the new Petite Petals punch and cut off the rounded edges of the flower. Later I realized there is a star in the Circle Thinlits set. Oh well, I am pleased with my "adapted" star. It is always fun to take a tool and modify it to create something new.

I hope I inspired you today! For more inspiration, join my StampinMojo Facebook page on the right and stay up-to-date with all StampinMojo posts.
