While the organization I work for has company branded note cards, there are times when I want to send a personal thank you note to someone. Last week I had a conversation with a gentleman and I want to send him a personal thank you.
I wanted the card to be understated and masculine. I believe I struck a good balance with this card.
The base is Soft Suede and the banners were created from the Park Lane DSP line. Each banner is 3/4" wide. The flag end was created using the Hexagon punch.

Back to the card…the sentiment is from the hostess set Let your Hair Down. All the sentiments in this set are bold and fun! I used a Versamark pen and only inked the Thank You portion of the stamp then heat embossed the sentiment in White Emboss Powder. I love the crispness of white embossing on dark card stock.
The linen thread was my choice for the finish to this masculine card.
Did I strike the right balance of professional and personal? I would love to hear your thoughts.
