Everything Eleanor Elegance

Everything Eleanor

I believe I have confessed in the past I am a paper hoarder.  Yes, my name is Michelle Gleeson and I hoard paper!  With each new catalog I tell myself I will limit my DSP purchases and by the time the catalog retires I have purchased ALL the DSP in that catty.

You know the drill you look at the DSP and you have your favorite prints.  Do you use it or save it?  The question is what am I saving it for?  Or the dilemma when you like the print on both sides, you feel bad the for the side you sacrifice and don't use.  Does this anyone else go through this?  Oh please tell me you do…

Anyway the base of this card is a retired DSP called Natural Composition Speciality DSP.  It is very heavy card stock with clear embossed prints.  This isn't one of those favorite DSP's I didn't want to use rather I found it too heavy at times.

I saw a card on Pinterest using this DSP as a base and it inspired me for this sympathy card I needed to create.

The Crisp Cantaloupe card stock is pretty against the Kraft colored DSP.  The Petite Petals stamp set and coordinating punch really add to the elegance of the card.

Sympathy inside

The sentiment on the inside is from Thoughts and Prayers Stamp Set.

    Hugs Frenchie,

  2. This is so beautiful! I will be copying. I really like the naturals DSP.
    Thanks,
    Naomi

  3. Maybe we should start a group called “Paper Hoarders Anonymous” because I am also a paper lover. I have a feeling there would be many of us at the meetings!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful work. Pinterest is fabulous, isn’t it?!

  4. This is such a beautiful card! I didn’t cave on the Naturals, but I am so like you in the other ways! I DO feel bad for the paper on the other side. In fact, I am sure to use the other side on the second sheet. I believe in equality for all patterns.
