Celebrate Today with a Sketch Challenge

Gleeson PPA 237

You have heard me say I am not going to purchase more Desiger Series Paper (DSP)..until of course Stampin' Up! comes out with another gorgeous DSP collection!  Birthday Bash Specialty DSP is the centerpiece of this card.  The entire collection is fabulous.  The confetti pattern includes bits of shiny gold confetti pieces to add a bit of glam to the paper (and the card).

My card was inspired by this week's Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge.  This week's sketch was designed by the very talented Nicole Watt.

The bow was created with the new Bow Builder Punch.  Creating the bow is super quick and easy with a few glue dots to hold it together.

The ribbon is only available through the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  It is FREE with any $50 (before taxes and shipping) purchase.

The sentiment is from the Sketched Birthday stamp set.  Then it was cropped using the Bitty Banners framelits.  Oh how I love framelits and my magnetic platform!

You can see the gold confetti in this angle of the card.  Below is a peek at the inside. I used the Celebrate Today stamp set and Gold Emboss Powder to make the confetti in the balloon coordinate with the gold elements on the front of the card.

I think this is a super fun card.  It would make me smile if I received it.

Thanks for stopping by.  Don't forget to go see what the design team created over at the Pals Paper Arts Challenge.
