Pals Blog Hop – March 2016 “Case the Catty”

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for February 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes. This month we are CASE-ing a project shown in a current Stampin’ Up! catalog. After all, with the Annual, Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs available right now, there is much inspiration to choose from. We hope you enjoy our creations.
You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below. The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

Friends & Flowers, StampinMojo, Michelle Gleeson, Pals Blog Hop February 2016

I cased a card from the Occasions Catalog featuring the Friends & Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set. This set coordinates with the Festive Flower Builder Punch from the recent Holiday Catalog. I love getting another stamp set to use with a tool I invested in! The card I CASE’d is shown below in with a yellow theme.

I love Navy Blue, White and Yellow together – such summer colors. I used Night of Navy, So Saffron and Old Olive for my card. The sentiment is from a Paper Pumpkin kit. I love the exclusive stamps that come with my monthly paper pumpkin kit.

Here is another peek at the card. I tend to be all about symmetry so the leaves of my flower don’t overlap as they do in the catalog version.

  2. Wow! Another wonderful example of a CASEd card that is better than the original! Love your color choice of the background!! Beautiful!

  3. Michelle I love this flower. Beautiful CASE of the caty card.

  4. I love your version. I tend to be more symmetrical, too!

  5. Your version really shines and stands out! Love it!

  6. Beautiful card! I like your symmetrical version better than the catalog!

  7. Wow! Your darker background really makes this pop! It’s gorgeous!

  8. Michelle, this is so very beautiful. I love the vellum and agree with Beth… more beautiful than the catalog version… This is my favorite color combination.

  9. Michelle this is so pretty and clean. The colors you chose compliment each other beautifully! (This is one of my favorite color combinations too…)
