Nature always gives us perfect color combinations. Here in Southwest Florida trees are blooming with beautiful pink and purple flowers surrounded by lush green leaves. This inspired the color combination for this weeks Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge by the very talented Beth Beard.
Beth gave us a challenging sketch. I tried to stay somewhat true to the sketch. I intended on adding the top panel however I was so pleased with the result without it, I decided less is more.
The flowers were outlined in Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Markers and then filled in using a blender pen and coordinating ink pads. Here is a close up look:
Basic Pearl Jewels were the perfect finishing touch as the flower centers.
