Post script: I would like to thank the Global Design Team for being chosen as one of the winning projects. I am so honored.
I am squeezing in my entry for the Global Design Team Challenge this week to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) Connie Collins. Connie’s signature style is her use of flowers in almost every project she creates. Here is the project we are CASE’ing this week.
I chose to go with a square focal point and a large flower with a smaller sentiment. The crumb cake pattern from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper offers a soft backdrop for the card. The flower is from May Flowers Framelits; I love the lacy look of this die cut.
The Mint Macaron leaves were quickly punched with the Leaf Punch and the Shaded Spruce leaves are from the Falling Flowers/May Flowers bundle. The sentiment from Perennial Birthday Stamp Set was stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with Early Espresso Stampin’ Embossing Powder (retired) on a piece of Vellum. A piece of Petal Pink Metallic Ribbon was added behind the vellum so the sentiment would pop. Three Share What You Love Artisan Pearls for the center of the flower are the perfect finishing touch.
Connie is one of my favorite bloggers to follow as her designs never disappoint. It was fun trying to CASE her work.
Stop by Global Design Project and check out their blog.
Thanks for stopping by!
