Humming Along

I know that the Midwest and Northeast are getting more snow this weekend so I thought a bright sunny card might be just the right thing to post.

The card base is Mango Melody (it is such a yummy color). I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Humming Along stamp set in Momento Black Ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends. I cut an oval from my Layering Oval Dies into a piece of cardboard/chipboard and then used that to mask the flower area while embossing the rest of the focal point. I have not done this in forever.

I added two banners of Lemon Lime Twist and the embossed focal point using mono glue. The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed in Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder on vellum. I trimmed the vellum down and added to the card with vellum specific runner adhesive.

An Organdy Ribbon bow was added to the top left to balance the heavy sentiment in the lower right. This Organdy Ribbon, and four additional colors, are part of Sale-A-Bration and is FREE with product purchase of $50 or more.
