The Stampin’ Up! Scalloped Note Cards are great for some quick colorful cards to have in your stash.
The Balmy Blue card was inspired by Artisan Mikaela Titheridge #craftyoinkpen project. The feathers are snipped from the Free as a Bird DSP. The sentiment is from #WPlus9 So Very stamp set and coordinating die. I have had the stamp set and recently purchased the die. ♥
This fun fall card was inspired by a card from #Chase&Main as part of #StampinThroughtheCatalog on Instagram.
This Terracotta Tile Note Card was embossed using #Altenew Dotted Swirls Base Plate. I love the subtle texture this adds. The embellishment is a simple flower from SU To a Wild Rose Stamp Set and Coordinating Die. The vellum leaves are from the Leaf Punch.
My final note card was inspired by a project from Anne Marie Hile #stampinanne. I love her work and am so glad to see her creating again. I think this is my favorite.
In the end I created all 20 notes cards making 5 of each design. I did not add sentiments to 3 of the 4 so they can be used on the fly for birthday, sympathy, thinking of you, or anything in between. My only disappointment in these note cards is the weight of the paper. While perfect for the envelopes it is too thin for the cards therefore I added a piece of Whisper White card stock above the 3/4″ of DSP you see sticking out under the scallop edge. This provided the weight I wanted for the card.
