As a new Stampin’ Up! catalog is about launch I realize I have a lot of DSP (Designer Series Paper) I have not used. It is so pretty I struggle to use it. I know I am not alone. This week I have begun to make a dent in my DSP. Okay, who am I kidding not even scratching the surface! But I have cut into some of my favorite patterns.
The star of this card is the retiring Bird Ballad DSP. A couple of banners across the center and the large Honey Bee Wishes Die is the focal point. The only stamping was the “Make A” sentiment strip that was heat embossed in white onto black card stock.
The “i” is dotted with an retired embellishment in Daffodil Delight.
Don’t forget to put some love on the inside of your card as well. These images were stamped, colored and cut out from the Free as a Bird stamp set.
After work each day I walk from my office to my craft room to decompress. I realize I am incredibly fortunate to have two separate spaces for these activities. My craft room is my sanctuary; a place where I am surrounded by my rainbow of card stock, ink pads and stamps to send kindness to those I love.
