The graduating classes of 2020 will not have memories traditional to graduation however it will always be remembered. We have five graduations to celebrate this year and I am just getting cards and gifts out for them.
Our oldest son graduated from American University with his Masters Degree and he sat in his apartment alone while we sat in our home and “watched” graduation online. My heart hurt so much that day that we could not be together. I need to focus on the fact that we will celebrate, it will just be delayed.
The card above is for my niece and goddaughter who graduated from the University of Illinois last month. I used the school colors to create this slim line card. I love this size card and will be making more like this.
The sides just as fun with the two different colors used for the sentiment. The caps and sentiments are from Simon Says Stamp and CZ Design called Grad Party. I love Cathy Zielske’s clean design style.
We have a nephew who graduated from Northwestern University this month as well. Of course I used his school colors as well.
The Graduation caps were stamped randomly and then I added a vellum overlay to soften the background and allow the single cap and sentiments to stand out.
I have enjoyed getting my mojo going again. Thanks for stopping by!
