When our two sons were young we read to them everyday. We instilled in them a love of reading and to this day they are ferocious readers. So when Hero Arts came out with Book Stacks Background stamp and Literally the Best stamp set they had to become part of my craft stash.
wI colored the 6 x 6 panel of stacked books with Copic Markers. The tea in the tea cup and the eye glasses were covered with Glossy Accents. ♥ Then I cut the panels to create to Mini Slimline cards (6 x 3 1/2). The panels were mounted onto black card stock and then mounted onto the 6″ x 3 1/2″ card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Clean and simple cards to send to our sons.
It is overcast today and it makes me want to curl up with a cup of tea and a book. I hope your week ahead is a good one.
