When I saw the Regarding Dahlias stamp set in the 2013-2014 Stampin' Up Annual Catalog I loved the flower but thought I don't need the sentiments. So it was not included in my very large initial purchase of new items from the annual catalog. Then I saw it used time and again by other stamping enthusiasts loving the result and wondering why I did not buy it.
I finally broke down and ordered it earlier this month. I am so glad I did. Look how beautifully it creates this subtle background for this card which was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.
The card base is Very Vanilla and the background is Brown Sugar card stock. The Dahlia was stamped using Versamark. The sentiment is from the Thoughts & Prayers Stamp Set and it was framed using the Deco Labels Framelits. The ribbon is Strawberry Slush 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Ribbon. This ribbon is so fun and easy to work with.
I lined the envelope with Strawberry Slush from the In Color Designer Series Paper Stack.
