Weekend Happy Hour

Thankfully the weekend is finally here.  It was one of those weeks FILLED with the unexpected.  While it was all handled through the cooperation of great colleagues it was draining.  So I crafted a very quick card to celebrate it was finally Friday night using Stampin' Up's Happy Hour stamp set.

Happy Hour is such a versitile stamp set.  It can be used to create invitations, celebration cards or used just for a little whimsy.   I used Rhinestone Basic Jewels for my champagne bubbles, it is not quite captured in this photo.

To create the simple border I used the Simply Scored Scoring Tool.  This tool can be used to create custom envelopes and much more.

The poloarid "look" is hot right now.  To create the perfect square inside the rectangle I used the square framelits.  I questioned whether I needed the square framelits (can't I just use my Stampin Trimmer?) the answer is no.  The framelits are perfect to create frames and get it perfect everytime.  I am so very glad I made this investment.

The Pear Pizazz chevron ribbon finish off this clean and simple card.

Do you remember the smell of those original poloarid photos?  We thought it was so cool to watch the photo emerge when we were kids, it was like magic!

Mojo and I hope you are enjoying your weekend.  Cheers!
