The Pals Paper Arts is celebrating their 300th challenge this week with a great sketch by Sandie Conner. This is a sketch you can use over and over again.
My pre-order finally arrived last Wednesday. As they say, ‘the waiting is the hardest part”. I wanted to use the pineapple stamp from the NEW Pop of Paradise stamp set for a birthday card. The card was for a colleague whose birthday was last Wednesday but I told her she had to wait for the stamp set to come! I love how this turned out.
I stamped the pineapples in Versamark and heat embossed Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The photo does not capture the shimmer from the gold very well. The polka dot pattern DSP is from the NEW Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper. The “Specialty” designation is because there are two sheets of gold infused patterns; one is polka dots and one is confetti. LOVE!
This photo shows off the gold a bit better. It is stunning in person. Pineapples are on trend and Stampin’ Up! is right there delivering us the most up-to-date trends. You get a peek at the inside of the card. I ran a piece of retired gold dotted washi tape along the bottom of the card stock. It really pulls everything together.
I do hope you will play along with the Pals this week. It is such a fun sketch. Thanks for stopping by!
Michelle
Oh, I love this, Michelle! The embossing is beautiful and the pink is the perfect a event color! So glad you shared this for the 300th PPA challenge.
Love the gold embossed pineapples. It’s beautiful…as always 🙂
