A Simple Thanks with Apothecary Accents

Today I have a real CAS (Clean and Simple) card.

Using a classic and clean DSP I trimmed it 1/8" smaller than my standard A2 card size.  Then I stamped the image from the Another Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set onto a scrap of Very Vanilla card stock.  Using one of the framelits from the Apothecary Accents set I cut the label.  To add a pop of color I cut two more labels from Raspberry Ripple card stock. I cut each label in half and then adhered to the Very Vanilla piece creating just the right amount of color framing. Pop it onto the card with a couple of Stampin' Dimensionals and you have the perfect Clean and Simple card.  Simple right?

I am so pleased with the result.  As you can see I used the same DSP to line my envelope using the quick and easy Envelope Liner Framelits.

Supplies Used:

Paper:  Print Poetry Paper Stack (Retired – Spring Mini), Raspberry Ripple and Very Vanilla card stock, Very Vanilla envelope

Ink:  Raspberry Ripple

Stamps:  Another Thank You Photopolymer Stamp set

Tools:  Big Shot, Apothecary Accent Framelits, Envelope Liner Framelits, Stampin' Dimensionals

Happy Friday!  I am very excited because I will see my brother and his family as well as my dad today.  We are all gathering in Chicago to celebrate my brother's 50th birthday.  Stop by tomorrow to see the card I made for him.
