November blog hop

Thank you for joining us for the November Pals Blog Hop. We are thankful you are visiting today and hope you enjoy our thank you inspired projects.

You should have just left stop number 7 on the Pals Hop – Connie Lindsey at Crafting a Joyful Life. If so, you are in the right spot.  If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

Let's get to my creation today…

11-12-2013

Where did my Mojo come from?

A stroll through Pinterest led me to the idea of embossing a large image as my focal point. My Sunflower stamp was the perfect choice. The idea of a So thankful Blog Hop seemed to mean Fall colors to me so Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla created my color palette.

These large stamps are often best when embossed, it brings out the depth of the detail in the stamp which can get lost with ink alone. I chose Stampin' Up's Gold Emboss Powder to showcase the Sunflower. I think it looks fantastic.

A quick banner holds my Thank You from the Another Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set. I love the way these stamps cling to the acrylic blocks and you can see through the stamp for perfect alignment.

I hope I inspired you to create today.
