Watercolor Note Cards to say So Sorry

Sometimes people go through periods where a lot of bad things seem to happen such as the loss of loved ones. Someone I know lost their dog and their dad within two weeks of each other. They also had to move her mom into a nursing home.  A very difficult time indeed. It is at those times when a simple card with a heartfelt message can help make someone feel loved and supported.

That is what inspired this card.  A clean, simple, and quick card to convey my sympathy.

I used Silver Emboss Powder to create texture and have the sentiment pop on this pre-preinted Watercolor notecard.  The envelope was lined with the matching floral pattern from Watercolor Wonder DSP.

The flowers on the note card and the DSP remind me of the flowers in the Stippled Blossoms stamp set.  So I stamped the front of the envelope as well. Doesn't it look pretty together?

While I can't take the pain away I believe this card helped them feel supported during a difficult time.

The Watercolor note cards are a wonderful way to get cards out quickly yet add your own personal style to make them special.

Have a wonderful day!

Michelle

  1. Love this I’m sorry card, it is very beautiful. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the second choices for STAMPS that have retired but you think the ones you suggest will work just as good. Bless you…. lisa
