When I make cards I strive to make them personal Sure sending a handmade card is personal already yet I design with the recipient in mind. I make a birthday card for every individual in my office and we have over 100 employees now. So it is fun crafting cards unique to each of them.
This card is for an associate that played Tennis in college and continues playing today. While the card was super simple I think he will get a kick out of it.
Here is the recipe:
- A2 standard base in Whisper White card stock
- Garden Green card stock cut 1/8" smaller all around
- Using the lines on my Grid Paper (awesome tool) and a standard flat ruler, I drew the lines of the tennis court with my White Gel Pen (it is important to not press too hard, a light touch works best)
- Using my 1 3/4" circle punch I punched two circles. One for the ball and the other to use to trace the side of the other circle to create the ball seams with my white gel pen again.
- And finally stamping the sentiment from the Four You stamp set with White Craft Ink.
How easy is that!
Tomorrow is the Pals Blog Hop – always fun and inspiring! The first for 2014 and we will be showcasing new products from the Occasions Catalog "Celebrate the Everyday". So I look forward to seeing you again tomorrow!
Cheers,
Michelle
