When I first saw the People Like You stamp set in the Occasions catalog I loved it. The flowers are bold and beautiful and I could image so many ways to bring them to life. The sentiment is very special as well. And the fact that the sentiment could be punched out with the Decorative Label Punch made this a trifecta purchase for me.

The card base is 5 x 5 again. Then I used the Fancy Foil Designer Vellum in Gold – which makes quite a statement. Then using my Stampin Write Markers in Elegant Eggplant and Gumball Green I inked up the stamp and then stamped it on Whisper White card stock. I inked up the sentiment section in Stazon Black and stamped it on the Gold Foil card stock. (By using the Stazon ink it dries quickly and will not smear on a smooth finish surface like the gold foil paper.) A quick punch with the Decorative Label Punch and a few Stampin' Dimensionals finished the focal point.
The gold vellum called for other rich colors which is how I chose the Elegant Eggplant and Gumball Green. Both colors stand up well to the richness of the gold vellum stripes and the gold sentiment.
Using the Envelope Punch Board I made the perfect sized envelope for my card.
Fun Tip: This stamp only comes in wood. I actually like using wood stamps as I can take a piece of clear window sheet, cut it down to fit in the stamp set box. Then using Stazon Ink I stamp the image on the window sheet using my Stamp-a-ma-jig lined up in the upper left corner. This way I just need to line up the window sheet with my Stamp-a-ma-jig when I want to use the image and save myself a step!
