Happy Thursday! I have a card that will really wake you up this morning. I used Melon Mambo card stock and the It’s My Party DSP to create a bright and festive birthday card for the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge this week.
That Melon Mambo is bright and vibrant. The DSP adds a wonderful party flair.
I used a lot of layers for this card and I am sure some of you will want to have the dimensions. So here we go:
Base: 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
Whisper White layer: 5 1/4″ x 4″
Melon Mambo layer: 5″ x 3 3/4″
It’s My Party DSP layer: 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
The banner is 1 3/4″ wide and I had it 5″ long before using the Banner Triple Punch.
Sentiment square:
Melon Mambo layer: 2 3/4″
Whisper White layer: 2 1/2″
Melon Mambo layer: 2 1/4″
Whisper White layer with sentiment: 2″
The sentiment is from the Tin of Cards stamp set. I love the font in this set. The It’s My Party Enamel Dots are the perfect finishing touch.
Here is the Pals Paper Arts Sketch created by Dawn Tidd that inspired my card:
I hope you will play along with the Pals as well. It is a fun sketch to work with.

What a bright and cheerful card. It would certainly bring a smile to whom ever received it. Thank you so, so much for including all the cutting measurements in your post. It sure takes all the guess work out of the creative process.
Debra, I am so glad the measurements were helpful. Have fun creating!
Festive and fun is what this card is. I love all the bright colors and the enamel dots are the perfect touch. Thanks so much for playing at the PPA this week and for using my sketch!
Beautiful Michelle!
