Pals Blog Hop – Stepping Up with Textures or Techniques

I am notorious for having guests for dinner and trying out a new recipe. I figure if it is a disaster we can always order pizza! Well, I did the same kind of thing with this Blog Hop. I have wanted to try the Bokeh technique and participating in this blog hop pushed me to give it a try and share my experience. I have several photos to share the process step by step.

Step one – Take a Stamping Sponge (I cut my into quarters for easier handling) and sponge color from my Stampin’ Ink pad. I started with Calypso Coral.

Step two – Sponge on the second color. I used Lost Lagoon. I am going to miss this color, I loved the softness of the blue.

Step three – Using a Sponge Dauber dot on White Craft Ink all over the sponged area. This will take a little while to dry. Then you can add it to your card and embellish away.

I am pleased with my first try at this technique. I will definitely give it a try again. I hope I inspired you to try this technique if you have not done so already.
