I adore the flowers in the Jar of Love stamp set. I think they look gorgeous in Peekaboo Peach and Lemon Lime Twist. I am crazy in love with this new In-Color.
Today I am playing this week’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge #TTC005 hosted by the uber talented Rosanne Mulheron. This is a fun challenge and I encourage you to play along. Here is this week’s board:
I chose to play the top line across Circle – Summer – Ribbon. My card base is Kraft card stock cut to a standard 4 1/4″ x 5 1/5″. The background is a piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut a 1/4″ smaller and then I rounded two opposite corners to jazz it up.
I stamped a combination of large and small flowers from the Jar of Love stamp set in Peekaboo Peach. The larger flowers I stamped off once for the background layer then stamped full strength for the detail layer. The leaves were stamped with Lemon Lime Twist onto Lemon Lime Twist card stock.
The sentiment is from One Big Meaning and was stamped in Basic Black Archival Ink and cut out with a Layering Circle Framelit. Then I cut a frame in Kraft card stock using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The sentiment layer was glued to the stitched circle. ♥ the stitched detailing.
To put it all together I have a piece of 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon that was flagged using my Paper Snips and adhered to the DSP with Fast Fuse. The sentiment was mounted over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaf sprigs were glued down and then the flowers were arranged and mounted with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The rustic background allow the peach and green to just pop!
I hope you will play along with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #ttc005 too. Thanks for stopping by!

Michelle,
I love, love, love your card. The muted flowers against the rustic background so cleaver. I love the ne in-color lemon lime twist as well such a fun and bright color. So happy you joined us this week over on the Tic Tac Toe challenge.
Thank you Felicita. I am a daily visitor to your blog so your comment means a great deal. BTW I live on Felicita Court in Naples, did you know it exists?
Oh my goodness, Michelle, this card is SO pretty! First, I love this particular sheet of the Wood Textures dsp, and combining it with the kraft card stock is brilliant! And the burlap just adds to the rustic feel.
Peggy, thank you so much. Your compliment means so much as you are uber talented.
