Today’s card has a clean design and was very quick to create. You can see there is very little stamping, my Big Shot did all the work. The color palette is the focus of the card and was inspired by the Global Design Project Color Challenge this week.
Typically I would layer purple and green together as I usually love that combination. However as I was creating my card Grapefruit Grove seemed to pop against the Fresh Fig more and I thought it would allow me to use leaves and stems to bring in the Mint Macaron.
I used the two middle square Stiched Framelits to create the focal point. The Fresh Fig frame was created using the larger of the two framelits and then adding a square from the Layering Squares Framelits. These framelits are an investment but you will use them over and over again.
The sentiment is from Detailed with Love. I adore the fonts in this set. The sprigs are from Bouquet Bunch Framelits and i added the sprig in Vellum as well as Mint Macron to keep an airy feel to the card.
I am awaiting the arrival of my SU order with my Share What You Love Artisan Pearls so I improvised and colored Basic Pearls using my Dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends marker to add my finishing touch.
Wish me luck with the challenge and thanks for stopping by.

I am a fellow demo. My June classes were Clean and Simple cards. My papercrafting gifts are NOT Clean and Simple. I had to “study” a lot for those classes and still didn’t feel like I delivered. This is so ideal. These card elements come together in such a striking way:)
