I love the Sketch Challenge over at Global Design Project #146 this week. Check it out.
With every new Stampin’ Up! catalog I get excited about the new products, invest in them and sometimes never use them. This really makes me made at myself. So this year I was more discreet in my investment AND have focused on creating several projects using one stamp set at a time. Right now I am focused on the En Route Suite.
Being the mom of two twenty-something sons who live in large cities hours from us, I love to find products I can use to create cards to send to them. This suite is perfect.
This suite includes a stamp set, Designer Series Paper (DSP), a Textured Embossing Folder, Washi tape and a Memories and More card set. (This is what Stampin’ Up! excels at; total coordination of colors and products making creating so much more fun.) The Memories and More card set is filled with great designs. I especially love the stickers which I used on my card and the sentiment cards. All the elements can be used on cards and are fantastic for scrapbooking vacations and other travel adventures.
The details of my project:
- A2 card base (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″)
- Mango Melody layer 31/2″ x 4 1/2″
- Whisper White layer 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
- En Route DSP squares are 1 3/8″ using the Layering Squares Framelits
- Sentiments are from En Route stamp set
- Transportation icons and flag are from the En Route Memories and More cards
- Gray Granite ribbon
Hope on over to see the other wonderful projects at Global Design Project. Thanks for stopping by!
