It has been a while since I have posted. That does not mean I have not been crafting! We took a trip to Napa Valley California for two weeks in May and since then time has been flying by.
This card is for an old colleague whose birthday is around the corner. I love this flower from Altanew Floral Art. It is a multi-step stamp that always produces a beautiful result. The flower was stamped in Stampin’ Up! Petal Pink and new Terracotta Tile.
The background was stamped in Gray Graphite using the Altanew Pinstripes stamp set.

The vellum leaves add texture without taking away from the focal point. They were cut using Stampin’ Up! Frosted Bouquet Frameltis.
The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Perennial Birthday stamp set. A few sequins and Gray Graphite ribbon are the finishing touches.
Such a pretty card…I especially love the color combo. The flower looks great against the pinstripe background stamp. Going shopping for that one…..
