This week’s Global Design Project is hosting a Color Challenge with the rich jewel tone colors of Mossy Meadow, Merry Merlot and Pretty Peacock.

I am eagerly awaiting my Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog pre-order due to arrive tomorrow. So I dug into this Concord & 9th Magnolia Wreath Bundle for the challenge.
I used retired Wood Textures DSP for the backdrop; I would love to see this DSP return. The wreath is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink. This unique set includes dies for extra magnolia leaves to add layers and depth. You can see that in the photo below.

There are “evergreen” sprigs of Pretty Peacock card stock and berries in Merry Merlot. The ribbon is retired SU ribbon from last year’s holiday catty.

I don’t usually create holiday cards this early however the GDP #201 color challenge seemed to call for something Fall or Holiday centric.
I hope you are having a great weekend and enjoying some creative time.

Great card Michelle! Those colors work so well together. I love the wood paper as the base layer, give the card a super country/rustic feel.
