Packer Backer Birthday card

A colleague who is a big Green Bay Packer fan has a birthday tomorrow.  So in honor of his birthday I created this Packer Backer color themed birthday card.

Using the Stampin' Up! Square Framelits this card came together with ease.  The embossing folder is from my local big box craft store.  Here is the inside:

Don't you think he will think this is a fun card?

Thanks for stopping by!

Pals Paper Arts #177

Halloween is almost upon us so I thought I would sneak in one more Halloween themed card from this year's Holiday catalog.  Using the Pals Paper Arts Challenge Sketch #177 as my inspiration I created this card to send to my dad in Arizona.

Here is the sketch by Nicole Watt:

PPA177This card leverages the bold colors of the Witches Brew DSP. Then a stamp from the Halloween Bash Stamp Set becomes the focal point. I am very pleased with how this turned out.

The patterns in the Witches Brew DSP are not just for Halloween.  They are bright and whimsical; great for many card making occasions.

Are you ready for Halloween?  Will you dress up to go to work or simply answer the door when the kids come by?  I would love to hear from you.

Don't forget it is the last day to get your 25 stamp sets at a 25% discount!  I placed my order yesterday, click here to order yours today.

A Freshly Made Birthday card

10-27-2013aToday's card was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketch Challange #108 by Narelle Farrugia.  However I realized it was last week's sketch!  Well that is what happens when you are traveling a lot – you lose track of time. Nevertheless, the sketch served me well in my pursuit of a card design for a colleague's birthday.

Don't Forget!

Tomorrow is the last day to receive 25% off of 25 stamps sets.  Click here to see the stamp sets available.  I own most of these stamp sets already and I will be ordering those I do not today!

Here is another look at today's card, I love the whimsy on the envelope…
