Stampin Up, Touches of Texture, Encouragement card - Michelle Gleeson, stampinup

Today I bring you a clean and simple card using SU Note Cards & Envelopes. This is such a great deal you get 20 (heavy weight) note cards and envelopes for only $6.00! These note cards are 3 1/2″ x 5″ and perfect for a quick note or thank you.

The flower is from Touches of Texture and includes the splatter stamp that I used as well. The sentiment is from Here for You and contained great inside sentiments as well.

The sentiment is cut out with a framelit from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. Silver Metallic Thread was tied around the matted (Dapper Denim and Pool Party) focal point. It was popped up using the Foam Adhesive Strips.

The center of the flower was painted with clear Wink of Stella to add some subtle glimmer.

A Sweet Hello

This is a super easy card that packs a wow impression. My card was inspired by the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge. Maggie Mata created this fun sketch for us this week.

I used a note card from Note Cards & Envelopes as the base of my card. Then I added a piece of Fruit Stand DSP as my soft and sweet background.

Using the May Flowers Framelits set, I cut one flower from Rich Razzleberry card stock and another flower in Flirty Flamingo. Then I stamped a flower in Flirty Flamingo from the Falling Flowers stamp set onto Flirty Flamingo and cut it out with the coordinating May Flowers framelits.

The Fine-Tip Glue pen made gluing the intricate flowers down a cinch. The stamped flower is stepped up using a dimensional.

The sentiment came from the new Thoughtful Banners stamp set and I used the coordinating Duet Banner Punch. Purchase these as a bundle and save 15%. I used two stacked dimensionals to prop up the sentiment. White Perfect Accents were added to the center of the flowers.

Memory Making Monday's - Michelle Gleeson

This week I captured some fun family time. Our oldest son graduated from college and is back living at home as he continues his job search. He had accumulated some recipes that he wanted to give a try. We are foodies at my house so we were ALL IN.

In my layout I captured the recipe (off the internet) as well as a photo of the finished project. Mojo even got a cameo in this layout.

I used SU Layering Love stamp set and Sweet and Sassy Framelits for the heart shaped sentiment. The “yum” came from the SU Baker’s Box Framelits.

Photoshop allowed me to add the text and paw prints on the photo of Mojo. The Moroccan DSP was the perfect complimentary background for the photos. And the new Delightful Dijon Striped Ribbon was added to the top right corner truly making this a mixed media (digital, paper, ribbon) layout.

Better Birthday Greetings

This card is relatively simple and carries a strong statement for a masculine card. The card was inspired by the Moroccan DSP which led to using Dapper Denim and Marina Mist.

The card front was embossed with the new Sparkle embossing folder. Then a layer of Marina Mist followed by the Moroccan DSP. I piece of 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon wraps around the front of the card. Three (retired) Marina Mist candy dots add a touch of color on the ribbon.

The sentiment is from Better Together. A fabulous stamp set that includes wonderful inside sentiments ♥. You can see (above) I used the birthday hat to decorate the front of my envelope.

The sentiment was framed in Dapper Denim and cut out using the Tags and Labels Framelits.
