Gift Cards for Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge

When I saw this week’s Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge I immediately knew I could use it to decorate my Gift Card Envelopes for my niece and nephew.

PPA 280 Sketch

This weekend I focused on Christmas presents, wrapping and tags for gifts that were headed out of town or to my office. Are you ready to see what I did with this sketch?

The SU Gift Card Envelope is perfect to slip the gift card in for my niece.  And here is another for my nephew.

Bloomin’ Heart Congratulations!

Another Sneak Peek from the Occasions Catalog. This card was greatly inspired by a card from a 2015-2016 Artisan Design Team member, Joyce Fowler.

Blooming' Heart Thinly Die, StampinMojo, Confetti Textured Embossing Folder,

The background was created using the NEW Confetti Textured Impressions Embossing Folder in Watermelon Wonder. Then I added a strip of Go Wild DSP and used my Banner Triple Punch to create the flagged ends. A piece of White 3/8″ Glitter Ribbon ran across the banner.

Then I cut the beautiful NEW Blooming’ Heart Thinlit from more Go Wild DSP. The sentiment and banner are from a NEW bundle called Number of Years. Remember you save 15% on every bundle.

I created this for a woman in my office that just graduated with her Bachelor’s in Business Administration. She is a single mom who achieved her Bachelor’s while working full time. That is a wonderful achievement. She is a great role model to her kids.

I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek. Thanks for stopping by!

Grateful Bunch Sneak Peek!

A quick sneak peek today from the new Occasions Catalog. The stamp set is called Grateful Bunch and it has a coordinating punch! Punches are fun and such time savers. The stamp set and punch are a bundle where you can save 15%.

Don’t you love the lacy border image in Tip Top Taupe at the top? Then I layered a small strip of Bermuda Bay with Venetian Crochet Trim adhered to the side. I am tickled with how this turned out.

I adore daisies and sunflowers so this set was destined to be mine.

The three daisies are all punched at once – the photopolymer material has no shrinkage so the images always line up with the punch! I adhered each flower to the card at a different height. The largest is glued flat to the card. The next is on one Stampin’ Dimensional and smallest is on two dimensionals. I added a Basic Pearl Jewel to each flower.

Above is a sample from the catalog. I think it is an adorable stamp set. I hope you enjoyed this Sneak Peek. Stop back on Monday for another peek at the new catty.

Have an amazing day.

Project Life to the Rescue

For those who are not memory keepers (formerly known as scrapbookers) you may have overlooked the Project Life products in the Stampin’ Up! catalog for card making. The Project Life Accessory Packs are filled with beautiful pieces to add to cards or dress up gifts. Today for the Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge I grabbed my Hello December Project Life Accessory Pack to create this striking and easy Christmas card.

Here is the Color Badge for this week:

The reindeer is stunning in glimmer gold paper. This die came from the Hello December Project Life Accessory Pack and I simply adhered a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock behind the die. Easy Peasy and such a striking image.

PPA279, Michelle Gleeson, Ornamental Pine, Wonderland

The inside of the card is simple and elegant to coordinate with the front. The pine branches are from the Wonderland Stamp Set (available thru January 4th) and were inked using my Stampin’ Write Markers. The sentiment is from a retired set called Ornamental Pines (2014 Holiday Catty). This is one of my favorite sets so retired or not is stays in my collection. I felt the sentiment followed the “Peace” on the front so perfectly.

I hope your are finding peace and joy in your holiday season. I am very behind in all my holiday preparations. I just put the ornaments on the tree last night, a task that is usually completed Thanksgiving weekend. Yet I am trying to be in the moment and enjoy the journey. A big step for me last night was NOT putting every last ornament we own on the tree. I think it is a first!

I did get my demonstrator order of NEW product from the Occasions Catalog that goes live on January 5th. I will get some sneak peeks to you this weekend. If you are not working with another Demonstrator and would like an Occasions Catalog please email me. I will be happy to send you one.
