CASE’d Birthday Card

Birthday card, StampinMojo, Hello stamp set, Sale-A-Bration

Sometimes you simply want to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) from a card you see. That is what I did when I created this card. The case is from the very talented Teneale Williams, a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from Australia.

I believe she used the It’s My Party Designer Washi Tape to create her bow behind the sentiment. I used a 1/4″ piece of It’s My Party DSP.

Inside peek, StampinMojo

Here is a peek of the inside of the card. I used the Balloon Celebration stamp set for the balloons on the inside and to decorate the envelope.

The Hello stamp set is FREE during Sale-A-Bration. It is a limited time stamp set and will go way on February 15th. So click on the Shop button on the side bar or here begin shopping and earn this great stamp set. The stamp set is FREE when you spend $50 on great Stamping’ Up! products. Don’t delay!

Beautiful Bunch

StampinMojo Sneak Peek for PPA287

I hope you popped in to see what I created with this beautiful flower. The flower is from the Beautiful Bunch stamp set and coordinates with the Fun Flower punch. I stamped the flower three times. Twice on whisper white and once on Calypso Coral card stock. I only snapped out the center of the Calypso Coral flower to add more interest to the center of the flower.

The color palette was created by fellow Pal and super talented Katy McGloin.

Let’s take a look at the result…

StampinMojo, PPA287, Beautiful Bunch

I had so much fun creating the polka dot background. I used a brand new pencil and used the eraser as my stamp! Easy and so much fun to do. I then stamped a 3″ x3″ piece of vellum with my D Block (I stamped off on paper once before stamping on the vellum).

The leaves are from the new Rose Garden Thinlit Die collection. Doesn’t this just sing – Spring!

I am tickled with the result. You know I like to embellish the inside of my cards,  but I am not certain who this is going to so I left it blank for now.

I do hope you will jump over to Pals Paper Arts for a peek at what the other designers did with the color palette. We would love you to create and upload your card, scrapbook page or 3D project using the palette.

If you have any questions, just email me.

Pals Blog Hop – March 2016 “Case the Catty”

2016badge-honey

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for February 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes. This month we are CASE-ing a project shown in a current Stampin’ Up! catalog. After all, with the Annual, Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs available right now, there is much inspiration to choose from. We hope you enjoy our creations.
You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below. The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

Friends & Flowers, StampinMojo, Michelle Gleeson, Pals Blog Hop February 2016

I cased a card from the Occasions Catalog featuring the Friends & Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set. This set coordinates with the Festive Flower Builder Punch from the recent Holiday Catalog. I love getting another stamp set to use with a tool I invested in! The card I CASE’d is shown below in with a yellow theme.

I love Navy Blue, White and Yellow together – such summer colors. I used Night of Navy, So Saffron and Old Olive for my card. The sentiment is from a Paper Pumpkin kit. I love the exclusive stamps that come with my monthly paper pumpkin kit.

Here is another peek at the card. I tend to be all about symmetry so the leaves of my flower don’t overlap as they do in the catalog version.

Mini Treat Bags for Valentine’s Day

This week Stampin’ Up! is featuring the Mini Treat Bags in the Weekly Deals. I wanted to showcase what a wonderful tool this is to have available when you want to send someone a treat.

Valentines using the Mini Treat Bag

I used the Love Blossoms DSP stack as well as the Have a Cuppa DSP stack for these adorable treat bags. They were created for a colleagues 4 year old daughter to give to her classmates. You can see I had fun decorating each a bit differently. I created 12 in total.

If you don’t have this in your quiver of tools then I suggest you take advantage of this week’s deal.

I know this tool is expensive but this week it is $10 off. I have used this for gift cards, Halloween treats, and even as an envelope for a special card. You will get a lot of use from this framelit.

Thanks for stopping by. Just click on the Shop button to order your Mini Treat bag.
