Love with all your Heart

Stampin Up Beautiful Bouquet Bundle Ribbon of Courage Sweetheart embossing folder encouragement card Michelle Gleeson Stampinup SU

Last night I picked up our youngest son from the airport for a last minute quick weekend trip home. I was so excited and a friend of mine said, “It is wonderful to love so deeply”. I gave her a resounding YES.

To love with all your heart is a wonderful feeling. We sat around the table and enjoyed a wonderful dinner, great wine, and robust conversation. As I went to bed, I thought how full my heart and soul felt. There is nothing like having your family around you.

My card today showcases one of the fabulous sentiments in the Ribbon of Courage stamp set. It was stamped on a heart cut with the Sweet & Sassy Framelit Dies. Then it was mounted with Stampin Dimensionals onto a piece of Calypso Coral card stock that was embossed with the Sweetheart Textured Embossing Folder.

Colors-3

The flowers and leaves were stamped and die cut using the Beautiful Bouquet Bundle. The flowers were stamped in Tangerine Tango and the leaves Wild Wasbi.

The inside of the card received some love as well.

I hope you have time to enjoy family this weekend. I know I am going to soak up all that I can.

Pals Blog Hop July 2017 – Pattern Party

Welcome to the July 2017 Pals Blog Hop. Thank you so much for joining us today. This month we’re having a Pattern Party! Hoppers will feature projects using their favorite Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper and coordinating embellishments. After all, color coordination is a Stampin’ Up! Strength.

Whether you’re just starting the hop, or have come from a previous Pal’s blog, you’ll find the line-up toward the end of my post to help you move along.

I went square this month with a 4 1/2″ Kraft square card base. Then I added three strips of Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, each strip is 1 1/8″ x 4 1/2″ and mounted onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock measuring 1 1/4″ x 4 1/2″.

I stamped two daisies in Peekaboo Peach (stamped off once) onto So Saffron card stock. This created very subtle veining in the flower. With my Sponge Dauber I lightly added some Calypso Coral ink on the tips of the daisy petals. Then I punched out the flowers with the coordinating Daisy Punch. The petals were curled with my bone folder, then offset and stacked one on top of the other with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The daisy as mounted to the card with dimensionals as well.

The sentiment is from Confetti Celebration and was heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder onto Very Vanilla card stock. A few snips with my paper snips and I had flag ends.

There are a lot of layers on this card yet it has such a clean look to it. The “Sparkle” comes from the gorgeous Foil Frenzy Designer Series Paper (DSP), gleam from Clear heat embossing the flower outline stamped in Basic Black Archival Ink and the Silver Faceted Gem. That is a lot of sparkle! You can see it more in this photo.

Summer Thank You for TTTC#5

Stampin Up JAr of Love Wood Textures DSP One Big Meaning Thank You card idea TTTC005 Michelle Gleeson Stampinup SU

I adore the flowers in the Jar of Love stamp set. I think they look gorgeous in Peekaboo Peach and Lemon Lime Twist. I am crazy in love with this new In-Color.

Today I am playing this week’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge #TTC005 hosted by the uber talented Rosanne Mulheron. This is a fun challenge and I encourage you to play along. Here is this week’s board:

tttc-challenge-board-005

I chose to play the top line across Circle – Summer – Ribbon. My card base is Kraft card stock cut to a standard 4 1/4″ x 5 1/5″. The background is a piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut a 1/4″ smaller and then I rounded two opposite corners to jazz it up.

I stamped a combination of large and small flowers from the Jar of Love stamp set in Peekaboo Peach. The larger flowers I stamped off once for the background layer then stamped full strength for the detail layer. The leaves were stamped with Lemon Lime Twist onto Lemon Lime Twist card stock.

The sentiment is from One Big Meaning and was stamped in Basic Black Archival Ink and cut out with a Layering Circle Framelit. Then I cut a frame in Kraft card stock using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The sentiment layer was glued to the stitched circle. ♥ the stitched detailing.

To put it all together I have a piece of 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon that was flagged using my Paper Snips and adhered to the DSP with Fast Fuse. The sentiment was mounted over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaf sprigs were glued down and then the flowers were arranged and mounted with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The rustic background allow the peach and green to just pop!

I hope you will play along with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #ttc005 too. Thanks for stopping by!
